Welcome to my website! I study nuclear astrophysics, where we look at how the microscopic physics of nuclear reactions drives the lifecycle of stars that produce the elements of our universe. This site is a small window into that world, glad you’re here!

At a glance

  • Research: Postdoc at LP2i Bordeaux studying exotic decays and reactions on radioactive beams using the Experimental Storage Ring in GSI, Darmstadt.
  • Background: BSc (Honours) at the Australian National University, Canberra; PhD at the University of British Columbia / TRIUMF, Vancouver; lots of collaboration with GSI, Darmstadt and the nuc-astro community.
  • Outlook: I care about understanding how the elements of our world were created, and what that can tell us about our place in the universe.
